This painting was being created in my basement, underground… I dreamed of having a window there. However, boring through the wall was even harder than my vision… so I transferred it to a 100/70 cm canvas. Some people see Beksiński’s works in it, others, just as me – a place to hide away in. The most pleasant moment of creativity is the one when the audience shares their reflections and bring my works out of … the underground.
